Smoovee got another outstanding review! This time on bluewin.ch, the web portal of the main swiss telecommunications operator Swisscom.
« Smoovee is childishly easy to use and turns out as efficient as user-friendly. It makes rushes of sports films almost seem to have been filmed on a tripod. »

The Smoovee team is proud to announce the release of its high-performance automatic video stabilization software for Mac 0S X. Smoovee is the result of more than two years of collaboration with the research institute IDIAP.
Pierre Ihmle and Jean-Pierre Gehrig explain: “For more than a year we have been using video stabilization techniques with our clients’ digitized Super8 and 16 mm films. Smoovee is the result of this fundamental work, and we would like filmmakers and film aficionados to be able to benefit from it. Smoovee brings added value through its ease of use and the marked improvement it brings to video quality.”
With its intuitive interface, this software is designed for a wide range of users. It aims at delivering the best correction while requiring the least human intervention possible. And because its stabilization process is particularly applicable to strong vibrations, Smoovee is ideal for use by filmmakers and athletes who use video to record action sequences.
Smoovee has redesigned its web site to prepare for the upcoming release of Smoovee 1.0. The Smoovee team will focus on future software releases and will discontinue the online video stabilization service. We thank all the users for their input, feedbacks and constructive comments.
The online stabilization web site will remain accessible for a few weeks at online.smoovee.net, so you still can download your stabilized movies before we shut it down completely.
